Project Details
Spectrum led the master planning process for the ACU at
Melbourne, North Sydney, Strathfield, Canberra and
Brisbane. The ACU Capital Development Program involved
the implementation of more than $500 million worth of
construction projects over several years.
Overview & Approach
- Spectrum managed the feasibility studies for a national 800-bed student accommodation strategy across three cities, including the NRAS funding submission.
- In the role as Program Manager, Spectrum was responsible for the implementation of projects nationally for base building and fit out, as well as religious and teaching facilities from initial briefing stage to completion, including contract and financial management.
- These projects required effective management of cost, quality and time to ensure they were complete in time for the commencement of academic terms.
- Spectrum also coordinated the acquisition of more than $150 million of commercial property in North Sydney for ACU.
